This shot was taken rather hasitily through the window of a moving bus. But
that ruin in the distance is the castle from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"
where the french guy was throwing cows over the wall.

A shot of the stunning Scottish countryside en route to Glencoe.

The hills of Glencoe, site of the treacherous massacre of the MacDonald's
by the Campbells in 1692. For failing to swear allegiance to the English crown,
the Campbells (freshly bought-off ) butchered the MacDonald clan in their sleep.

"Haggis Tours" was our choice while touring Scotland, and we heartily recommend
it to any and everyone traveling there. Their "flexi tour" was ideal, as it allowed you
to get off and on a series of buses whenever you desired. You could tour the basics
of the country in as little as 3 days, or as long as 3 months for the same price.
Pretty sweet deal.

Just driving around this country was amazing.

I believe this series of five mountains is called "The Five Sisters", and seeped in
Scottich folklore. Although I forget what the story is exactly, so you'll have to look
it up yourself.

More stunning countryside as we made our way from the south and into the
northwest of the country.
